I'm a UConn basketball fan, more for the men's game than the women's, though I do follow both. Occasionally when I'm not thinking current events I slip around to see what's going on with the Huskies as both teams head toward their season openers. I found this little nugget at the Hartford Courant sports site, a comment from coach Jim Calhoun discussing one of his freshman, Jamaal Trice from California.
UConn coach Jim Calhoun continues to be impressed with freshman Jamaal Trice.
"The guy who jumped into the scene from Day 1 has been Trice," Calhoun said. "The biggest problem is he's a right-wing conservative."
A lot of times in sports it's the coach teaching the players. This may be one player who can teach the coach.
