Having just heard Mr. Obama explain how he "warned two years ago" about the subprime crisis. How he wrote to the Sec. of the Treasury advising that "something be done" about it.
So here's my question:
Corollary questions: "You keep saying you warned about the subprime mortgage problem 'two years ago'? When? Where? How? What exactly were your words? What reforms did you call for? Do you have supporting evidence? Because I haven't seen it, read it, heard that you had except from you during this crisis."
10/7/08 2140: With Mr. Obama promising to "cut taxes for 95% of all Americans" I thought it might be helpful to recall what happened when a Democatic presidential candidate promised a middle class tax cut in 1992. And here's the video.
