Let's stipulate first that the American team had their chance and did not produce their best performances when they needed them in the Women's Team Gymnastics final a couple of nights ago. Let's further stipulate that if "home field advantage" was present in the scoring it might not be the first time that's ever happened.
However, it would be very unusual, even for slightly built gymnasts, to have an average team weight of 77 pounds if they really are all 16 years old. And, sure enough, a news report exists on the net was recently removed from its webpage which sheds doubt on the age of at least one competitor.
