... hasn't been much of one to this point. Right now OSU has the ball in Florida territory with about 5 minutes left in the third quarter, and a 20 point deficit is staring them in the face. If they don't get points out of this possession you can turn the TV off, the game is over.
The Buckeyes are facing a very well-prepared Florida defense without their most dangerous weapon, wideout Ted Ginn, who showed just how dangerous he is by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, then injured his ankle on the first offensive series and hasn't returned. He was last seen on crutches on the sideline...
...and now they've kicked on fourth and 12. I'll watch a little bit longer, but Florida's defensive front is quick, strong and active, and the Heisman Trophy winner, Troy Smith, has had them in his face all game long. I doubt that the Ohio State will be able to produce much without the aforementioned Mr. Ginn and needing to throw.
... It does not appear that OSU is prepared to cover the Florida passing game. The Gators have had some guys open by 10 yards in all directions, who've not gotten the hit they expected after catching the ball.
