Via the Boston Herald's 'Inside Track' gossip column we learn that the Red Sox makeover by the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy will be airing tomorrow night on the Bravo network. Having observed these self-professed 'idiots', the Fab Five will have their work cut out for them.
Four of the "Queer Eye's" Fab Five flitted into Fenway yesterday to throw out the first pitch and to pitch their Red Sox season-opening makeover set to air tomorrow on Bravo.
Carson Kressley, Kyan Douglas and Thom Filicia took the mound in high style before the Sox-Angels match to toss the first pitch. (Ted Allen had a foodie fete elsewhere and Jai Rodriguez did the national anthem honors.)
The kings of tszuj were in town to promote the new ``Queer Eye'' season that kicks off tomorrow with makeovers for Johnny Damon, Kevin Millar, Tim Wakefield, Jason Varitek and Doug Mirabelli. After the Sox dispatched the Angels 6-3, the boys had dinner at Mistral then headed next door to Club Cafe in the South End for a fantabulous benefit for Boston Pride and the Harbor to the Bay AIDS Ride. The event was emceed by 7News' openly gay anchorman, Randy Price.
Don't ask me, I have no idea what 'tszuj' is. We did get this piece of 'didn't need to visualize that' information.
And besides, who among us can resist the sight of Kevin Millar having his back waxed????
I think I'll skip breakfast.
