"Why Michelle Obama's Hair Matters?" Here's a screenshot, because, I kid you not.
It's actually worse. At the TIME website she gets the Andy Warhol treatment.
Let me phrase it this way. Michelle Obama's hair matters to her, to the President, to her stylist, probably not so much even to her children, and to Cult of Obama journalists. That's pretty much it. I never gave a moment's thought to Mrs Clinton's pant suits, Mrs Bush's dresses or accessories, and, after this post, I doubt I'll ever have a single moment of consideration of the significance of Mrs. Obama's coif. This is a rather transparent effort to make the Obamas transcend the American culture, and it's pure nonsense.
Maybe next week TIME can dedicate their issue to seeing that all Americans have affordable health care with a public plan, that climate change is turned back by passing the Waxman-Markey fiasco, and that the economy is seen as robust and thriving amid double-digit real unemployment. Oh, right. Never mind.
