You see, if you find the "Obama as Joker" poster both truthful and amusing, the one with the single-word caption "Socialism," then you are a racist.

That, my friend, is simply proof of your racism.
To be honest, though, I do believe the poster appeals to people who see in it a validation of their own racial prejudices, even if they can't acknowledge them. That my short post hit such a deep, raw nerve clearly shows that race was very much part of the illustration's attraction.
Because, after all, why would anybody object to being tarred with the wholly unacceptable and marginalising pejorative "racist" if one wasn't, in fact, racist?
