By now everyone is aware that President Obama stuck his foot in it the other night. He was asked a question about the arrest of a friend, Henry Louis (Skip) Gates of Harvard, for disorderly conduct after policemen were called to Prof. Gates' home when a woman saw two men jimmying the door to get in. James Crowley (who is white) of racist intent. Here's Pres. Obama answering the question at his press conference.
