Last evening, continuing the very busy Saturday, six of us headed for the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester NH for the Journey/Def Leppard tour stop there. Here's Journey's site, and here's Def Leppard's. The bands rocked, and crowd was into it. It's been a slow year for concerts, but this one was a tenth anniversary gift from my brother- and sister-in-law for Gwendolyn and me. She really dug Def Leppard; who knew Gwendolyn was such a headbanger.
On somewhat more than a side note, Journey lead singer Steve Augeri and Journey gave support for the family of Michael Briggs, a Manchester policeman killed by a multiple offender from Massachusetts. They were raffling a donated guitar to raise money; I bought a number of tickets. If you'd like to donate, you can find the address to send your donation here.
