First Sen. Landrieu was caught on Fox News Sunday tap dancing her way through an incisive line of questioning from Chris Wallace, and now Gov. Blanco has exposed her ineptitude and blame-shifting for all the world to see.

And she apparently didn't because she DIDN'T TRUST FEDS AND THE MILITARY. From Wizbang:
Why didn't she ask for federal troops? As Blanco explained to her press secretary as she wiped away tears, if troops came in, they would "put good people in jail."
That's just what the goose-stepping Nazis always do, put "good people in jail." Pathetic.
Blanco seems like a perpetually drunk Louisiana socialite who somehow accidentally stumbled into office on a dare. She should bear the burden of this thing. She is the worst of all of them.

I'm most offended by her righteous indignation over the first two weeks, given what we're learning now about her inaction. Has she no shame? It would be one thing if she had taken a more modest "Gee, we all needed to do more, let's see what can be done to help" attitude.

Hmm, perhaps she modeled her career after another silver-spooned boy of privilege who stumbled into political power and who has similarly undistinguished himself during this whole mess.

FWIW:
1) Zsa Zsa is not a Yankee. Far from it.
2) While her post assumed something she shouldn't have about Louisianans, so did yours about her.
3) I don't see where the fact that Zsa Zsa or I "haven't lost anything or everything" precludes us from having an opinion about the actions of public officials. Is that the "chickenhawk" accusation in drag?
4) We don't use profanity here. Your expletives have been deleted.
5) Why leave a profane comment on a 10 week old post that no one will ever read again?
