A quick and refreshing look around.
- Will Franklin, blogging at Wizbang, notes the violent actions of anarchist protestors in San Francisco, and the lefty media willing to "understand" it.
- The Valerie Plame kerfuffle is more closely tied to Karl Rove. And yet, it's still not clear that any crime was committed. Rick Moran analyzes the frenzy's current standing at RWNH, and agrees there's "no 'there' there,", but that Rove may be forced out anyway.
- E.J. Dionne decided that 51% was not enough of a majority for Pres. Bush, and so, as a result, he shouldn't get Supreme Court nominees of his own choosing. I know what you're saying, that no Democrat has had such majority support in 41 years, and they got to choose. Well, you'll have to take Dionne's word for it, Bush shouldn't get to choose. Power Line calls this "Heads I win, tails, we'll call it a draw." Reminiscent of the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- The Taliban claimed to have captured, then beheaded the last missing Navy Seal in Afghanistan, lost in the rescue mission after the Chinook was taken down. They lied. What a shock.
