I can't remember the last time I read something this funny. Unintentionally funny, but hysterical nonetheless.
Hat tip: Power Line.
You know, it could've been even funnier if he'd speculated on just how Rove did it. If this is what can be expected from The Huffington Post I may just have to read - for entertainment purposes only.
UPDATE: Byron York responds, and Lampley counters. The most telling line in Lampley's counter?
York's posting proves nothing. Neither, for that matter, does mine...
Evidence, my good man. You need evidence. Ah, but he does harken back to Watergate, the tried and true friend of the liberal.
At this point in 1973 Watergate was still a brewing story...
UPDATE: I've read some of the reviews of the Huffington Post and the associated blog, and it doesn't seem like many are impressed. You can see what Kevin Aylward had to say, and he links to many others. But definitely read Lileks on this new entrant.
In a way blogs are the refutation of the old joke: “The food’s so bad here.” “Yes, and such small portions.” Dole out crap in large amounts all day and you don’t guarantee traffic; eventually people will [get] tired of poking through the heap with a stick looking for diamonds.
It's only been a day. We'll see.
UPDATE: Kevin Aylward carries the farce further still.
