hat tip: Ace of Spades. Digger's Realm has been tracking the story of the Pearcys, who hung a soldier in effigy from their home in Berkeley, CA. Actually, from their second home, which they had rented to three girls, college students I believe.
These three must have done something terrible to the Pearcys to merit such defacement of their rental abode. It was terrible all right. It turns out that the girls were...gasp!...Republicans, and they...gasp!...put up a Bush/Cheney sign in the window. Oh, the humanity!
Whether or not there is any legal recourse is, at 4 months post election, a moot point. What is not is that members of the party of "tolerance" has demonstrated once again a complete lack of tolerance for dissenting viewpoints. I mean, it's not like they were planning to vote for Lyndon LaRouche.
